Heather joined the team in 2025 as a Laboratory Research Technician, working on the development of cell biointerfaces.

Heather has a varied background in biology, with experience working on diverse projects involving plants, bacteria, and mammalian cells. Her expertise also extends to assay development and R&D in industry.

Currently, Heather supports the lab's mammalian cell culture and development work, helping to design a new platform to investigate the role of bioelectricity in biological systems. She is eager to apply her knowledge to the fields of bioelectronics and biomaterials.
